The analytics section of your owner dashboard, labeled Insights, gives you a picture of how your academy is performing: how many members have enrolled in each course, how many complete it, and how much revenue you have collected. Insights shows data for the academy you are currently viewing, so if you run multiple academies, use the academy switcher in the top bar to move between their data.
Insights is available on paid plans and during your trial. If your academy’s plan lapses or is paused, the Insights dashboard is locked until you reactivate.

The four tabs

Insights is organized as four tabs, each answering one question, each showing only the filters it actually uses.

Overview

How is the academy doing? Four tiles (members, active members, lessons completed, and average completion, which becomes Your net once you sell), one trend chart with a metric switcher, and your top five courses.

Audience

Who is showing up? Member growth and lesson activity over the selected range.

Courses

Which courses work? The all-time course leaderboard, sortable, with a drill-down into any course.

Revenue

What did you earn? Period tiles, revenue over time, and revenue by course. Shown once a connected Stripe account can accept charges.

Filters

  • Range: the last 7, 30, or 90 days, or All time (from the day your academy was created). Courses has no range because its leaderboard is all-time.
  • Audience: on Overview, Audience, and Courses, pick one or more Lists or Segments from People. For several audiences, choose Any to include members in at least one, or All to include only members in every selected audience. Revenue has no audience filter, since purchases are not member-scoped.
While an audience filter is on, the course leaderboards and the course insights dialog follow it too. The dialog names the audience at the top (for example “AI Workshop Pilot only”), and revenue figures are hidden, so filtered numbers never sit next to academy-wide sales. For a full report on one list, including survey answers, use the list’s cohort brief. Insights counts members only. You and your admins are left out of every number, the leaderboard, and the course insights, even when you enroll in your own courses to test them. Where a card shows a change against the previous period, completion changes are in percentage points. Active members counts people who completed at least one lesson in the period.

Course-level analytics

The Courses tab ranks the courses in your academy so you can see which are performing best. Rates drawn from fewer than five members are shown muted, since a small sample says little.

Enrollment count

The number of members enrolled in each course, including those still in progress and those who have completed it.

Completion rate

The share of enrolled members who have completed every lesson in the course. A low completion rate can indicate that a course is too long, poorly structured, or not matching expectations.

Average progress

How far enrolled members have progressed through the course on average, so you can spot courses members start but do not finish.

Revenue per course

For paid courses, the revenue attributed to each course. Free courses say Free.
Click a course to open its detail. The drill-down lives in the URL (?course=), so you can link an admin straight to it and the back button closes it.
Sort your courses by completion rate to find your strongest and weakest performers. Courses with high enrollment but low completion are the best candidates for a content review.

Course insights

Click a course in the course leaderboard on the Insights page, or use the chart icon (Course insights) next to the settings gear in the course editor, to open that course’s insights. The dialog can show five tabs. Overview and Members are always there; the others appear when the course has something to show.

Overview

Enrollments, completions, and the lesson-by-lesson funnel, so you can see where members drop off.

Members

Everyone in the course with their progress. Expand a row to see that member’s quiz answers. The tab uses your academy’s own word for its audience, Members by default.

Knowledge checks

Results for every quiz question, grouped by lesson, with the answer spread and a first-try rate, plus a section for graded knowledge checks with pass rates, average best scores, and each member’s attempts. Appears when the course has quiz questions or graded checks.

Practice

How members do on the course’s practice blocks: key points covered in Explain it back, strong answers per line in Rapid-fire drills, endings and choices in Decision scenarios, and check-ins in Field missions. Appears when the published course has practice blocks, so after you add one, republish the lesson before the tab shows up.

Revenue

Sales attributed to this course. Appears when you sell it.
The Practice tab can open with short findings (for example, how few members covered a key point, or how many are past their mission date without checking in), then groups results into Explanations, Drills, Scenarios, and Missions. Each mission shows the share who checked in, how many Committed, Checked in, and are Past their date, and a How it went bar (Done, Partly, Didn’t happen yet) from the latest check-ins. It shows totals across enrolled members, “from signals only, never from what they wrote or said”: their explanations, answers, and check-in notes stay private to them. See Practice blocks.

Member-level progress

Click any member in the People page to open their detail panel, where the Progress tab shows progress specific to that individual:
  • Courses started, courses completed, and overall progress.
  • Per-course progress: completed lessons out of total lessons for each course they have started, with a checkmark when the course is finished.
The People roster itself carries quick views such as Stalled 14d+ and Never started, so the members behind a weak number are one click away. See Managing Members.
Member progress is based on lesson completions. Fayne tracks which lessons a member has completed; it does not track lesson view counts or time spent.

Revenue analytics

The Revenue tab gives you an at-a-glance view of your academy’s financial performance for the period you select. Revenue appears once you have a connected Stripe account that can accept charges.

Gross sales and net

Gross sales and your net after Fayne and Stripe fees, for the selected period.

Revenue over time

A chart of revenue across the selected period, so you can track growth and seasonal patterns.

Per-course breakdown

Revenue attributed to each course, so you can see what is driving sales and where to focus.

Refunds

Refunds are tracked and deducted from your net revenue figures.
For the per-transaction ledger with every purchase, refund, and dispute (including CSV export), open Sell → Transactions. For full transaction history, individual customer details, and payout schedules, open your Stripe dashboard from Settings → Payments.
Revenue figures reflect payments processed through Stripe and already net out refunds. For the complete record, including disputes and payouts, check your Stripe dashboard.

Activity feed

Insights summarizes performance. For a chronological stream of individual events, open Activity in the owner sidebar. It shows joins, course starts, lesson and course completions, purchases, refunds, certificates, and offer grants. See Activity.

Team access

Your academy has one primary owner and can have additional admins on Scale. Admins can work with content, members, and Insights, but owner-only settings such as billing and team management stay with the primary owner.
