Getting started with Fayne is a short guided setup. You tell Fayne what you teach and who it is for, add any material you already have, and Fayne plans a whole academy of courses around it. You pick one course to build first, and Fayne writes it for you, free, while you look around. You start a free trial with no credit card, and you refine everything from your dashboard afterward.
1

Say what you teach

The first screen asks What do you want to teach, and who is it for? One or two sentences is plenty. You can also add Your website (optional): Fayne reads it for your branding and what you already teach, and prefills the next steps. Not sure what to teach yet? Click Start from a ready-made course under Continue, pick a course from the library with Start with this course, and Fayne opens your academy with it. You skip the plan and go straight to your details. The course is yours to edit, and you can build your own courses whenever you’re ready.
2

Add your material

Got anything we should build from? Drop in slide decks, documents and PDFs, links to your videos, or notes you’ve written, using Choose files, Add link, or Paste text (and Google Drive when shown). Your own material makes the courses sound like you. Everything you add is saved to your Knowledge, so the AI keeps using it later. Nothing to add? Choose Skip, build from my answers.
The more specific your answer and your material, the closer the plan fits your audience. If your answer is broad, Fayne asks A couple of quick questions first; you can skip any of them.
3

Add a few details

Enter your First name and Business name. Your business name becomes your academy’s name and web address on fayneos.com (for example, acme-consulting.fayneos.com).
4

Review your academy plan

Which course should we write first? Fayne proposes three or four courses for your academy, each with a one-line promise and an estimated lesson count. The one it would start with is marked Recommended.
  • Pick the course you want built first. Every course stays in your plan; you only choose which one comes first.
  • Rename any course with the pencil icon.
  • Not quite right? Suggest a different set, say What should be different? (or tap a suggestion such as More beginner-friendly or Fewer, deeper courses), and Fayne proposes a new plan. You get three new sets, and your current plan stays if you change your mind.
5

Build your first course

Click Build “your course”. Your first course is on Fayne, up to 8 lessons, and it does not use your trial’s AI credits. Fayne applies your branding, reserves your web address, and starts writing the course, then takes you to your dashboard after about 30 seconds. The course keeps writing in the background.
You don’t write an outline or approve it during setup. Fayne plans and writes the first course for you, and everything is fully editable afterward.
6

Look around while it writes

Home shows Your academy with your first course’s progress (“Writing your first course · 3 of 8”) and a short checklist of next steps. Open the course any time: lessons appear as they finish. See Owner dashboard. The other courses from your plan wait on the Courses page, in the In the works row, as briefs you can build whenever you’re ready. See Courses in the works.
7

Refine and share

From here you customize: edit lessons, adjust your branding, add more courses, and set up pricing when you are ready. Your academy is live in preview at your subdomain during your trial, so you can share the link and invite your first students right away.
You start a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. During the trial your academy runs in preview mode and shows a small Fayne trial preview badge to students. The trial includes 100 AI credits, enough for about one more short course from your plan; removing the badge needs a paid plan. You are only charged when you choose one.
